“The reason why I asked for the show of solidarity for the people of Palestine from my fellow councillors was to demonstrate their opposition to the unimaginable violence being perpetrated and the devastating loss of innocent lives, among children and worse still infants in Palestine, which I believe is a travesty for us all”
